Black & McDonald supplied, installed and integrated the changeable message signs along the 401, 400, 409 and Allen Road as part of the new advanced traffic management system for major highways in the Greater Toronto Area. For this busy highway interchange, Black & McDonald's utility team installed new high mast lighting, traffic signals and 8 traffic counting stations.

Highway 86/85

Kitchener, ON

Black & McDonald's utility group undertook the installation of high-mast and conventional lighting for the new Highway 85, formerly numbered Highway 86. In addition to lighting, Cathodic Protection was also installed in the bridge deck.
