	Breconridge Ottawa, ON Installing air conditioning for Breconridge's 10,000 square foot P1 Area clean room retrofit required 20 HVAC technicians less than the scheduled two-week shutdown period. Due to the high-quality of the installation performed, Black & McDonald was further awarded the HVAC & piping for the P2 Area as well. Owner: Breconridge
	Castrol Laval Laval, QC Installation of the access control and camera system for Castrol required working with high levels of safety standards due to the volatility of Castrol's products. In addition to access control, the system included an employee tracking feature that could be enabled during emergency evacuations if required. Work included the barriers, concrete bases and the trenching and repaving of 4,000 square meters on location. Owner: Castrol Canada
	Fundy Gypsum Company, Ship Loaders Halifax, NS For manufacturer Fundy Gypsum Company's Hantsport Facility, mechanical and electrical work was done for assembly of 2 ship loaders (approx 330 ton each). Challenges included building the crane pad to support the crane lifting the loads on a temporary pivot point, and then later moving the loaders to their final location after the modifications. 	General Motors In-build Wireless St. Catharines, ON Black & McDonald installed and tested Telus Mobility's in-building wireless communications system, the iDEN voice network for the 2.4 million square foot GM facility. Good communication was considered the key to success and required significant coordination with GM management, CAW and the department production schedules. 	Rolls Royce Combustion Rig Ottawa, ON When MDS Aero Support wanted to certify the Rolls Royce combustion test rig for use in Canada, they called upon Black & McDonald to fabricate the intake, exhaust, and water-cooled midsection and incorporate them into the rig for testing and certification.
