B&M Internship Series: Brianna Strong

The second post in our Internship series features Brianna Strong, a Project Management student from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, who is working out of our Courtice, Ontario office for the Power Generation Region.

Over the course of her internship, Brianna has learned about the comprehensive process of receiving a job from a customer, learning how the job is completed, and all the processes in between. Brianna has focused on developing her project management skills, assisting with a variety of project related activities, including estimating, cost control, quality assurance and procurement.

A highlight of the summer so far for Brianna has been working the Black & McDonald booth at the Curve Lake First Nation job fair. As a student herself, Brianna enjoyed gaining the perspective of being on the other side of the booth, and found this form of community engagement rewarding.
