Black & McDonald Limited is a multi-trade construction and maintenance contractor serving the industrial, commercial and institutional markets.

Our service offerings are divided into 4 major groups: Construction Projects; Utilities; Service & Maintenance; and Facility Management & Operations (FMO).

Construction Projects

Black & McDonald offers a full range of trade contracting capabilities, specializing in the mechanical electrical and data/com disciplines. Black & McDonald has the right team to handle your project, whether it be small modifications to an existing facility or a major multi-million dollar installation. Our Project Managers and tradespeople are experienced professionals who operate with the highest respect for safety and quality.

Utilities

Utilities work is best described as outdoor and high voltage electrical work, and the associated trades that go with it. Black & McDonald offers a range of utility services that include the installation of: outdoor and specialty lighting (including roadway, traffic, airport & decorative); overhead and underground power & communication systems; high voltage testing and substations. The company is equipped with a fleet of specialized trucks that are on call 24 hours a day, ready to deal with any electrical related emergency.

Service & Maintenance

Black & McDonald has a complete team of professionals dedicated to repairing and maintaining mechanical and electrical building equipment. We provide our customers with a single source for all their maintenance and repair requirements with service available 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

We offer preventive maintenance programs that are individually designed to meet the specific requirements of each client, be it a large or small industrial plant, or an institutional or commercial building.

Facilities Management & Operations (FMO)

Black & McDonald is capable of acting as an outsourcing agent, taking on the responsibility from our customers to manage the maintenance, operations and support services of their facilities. Currently, we manage facilities such as commercial office buildings, airport terminals and support buildings, industrial plants, military bases, museums, and health care facilities.
