Partnerships
Black & McDonald is a strong believer that partnerships as a whole are greater than the sum of their parts. Based on the founding principles of the company: generosity, trust, honesty, and a common vision, partnerships have the ability to return extraordinarily high value while delivering superior quality services and products to the customer.
A great partnership is founded on the idea that growth and
prosperity come from the combination of the partners' talent
and efforts. This is especially true with the formation of
Canadian Base Operators (CBO) with our American partner Day
& Zimmermann Services. With a commitment to providing quality
service and sharing a common vision CBO was the first civilian
service supplier at any military base in Canada to take on
all non-military service functions.
The commitment to quality and a shared business philosophy
is consistent in all of Black & McDonald's partnerships. From
AMEC Black & McDonald, a joint venture with Scotland based
James Scott, which was formed to provide electrical, instrumentation
and HVAC services to offshore facilities in Canada. To ICB&M
Mechanical Services Limited, a joint venture partnership with
ICM Mechanical Formed to serve the HVAC market in southern
Saskatchewan.
